Timberpride pays great attention to its environmental footprint. When the company moved to its current premises it took care to minimise the impact of its presence on the local area.
All water used on site runs into soakaways and the natural stone yard means rainwater percolates into the ground with no detrimental impact on local drainage. The rainwater harvesting system means there is zero impact on the water table and zero flooding risk.
Timberpride has established links with smoke houses where they re-use sawdust to smoke salmon and other foods.
Both kiln dried and seasoned timber off-cuts are sold for firewood in the surrounding areas of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire areas of Tetbury, Malmesbury, Cirencester, Stroud, Nailsworth and Dursley.
